Scott was appointed President and CEO of Latham in November 2017 after serving as the company’s Chief Financial Officer since August 2012. Under his leadership, the company purchased Narellan Pools, the largest swimming pool supplier in Australia and New Zealand, and transitioned the majority of the stake in Latham to Pamplona Capital Management.
As CFO, Scott was responsible for Finance and Global Supply Chain, as well as Information Technology and Human Resources. Prior to joining Latham, Scott served as Director of Finance for GLOBALFOUNDRIES where he was a critical member of the start-up leadership team for FAB 8. He was also CFO of the Americas for Momentive Performance Materials and has held various senior financial leadership positions at GE in New York, Maine and South Carolina.
A past Chairman of the Board for The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County, Scott also served as Treasurer of the organization. In addition, he was a member of the WMHT (public access television) board for three years. Scott is a key supporter and fundraiser of The Southern Saratoga Chamber Angels, NYS Special Olympics, Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, The American Cancer Society, and WMHT.
Scott earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Clarkson University and a bachelor’s degree in Math and Business Economics from SUNY Potsdam. He is a graduate of GE’s Executive Finance Leadership Program and Finance Management Program and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
J. Mark Borseth has served as Chief Financial Officer of Latham since February 2020. Mark is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities for the company. This includes overseeing accounting, finance, forecasting, cash flow, treasury, financial planning and more.
Prior to joining Latham, Mark served in various executive roles at Ranpak, a manufacturer of paper packaging converter machines and paper products, from 2015 to 2019, most recently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer. From 2009 to 2014, Mark served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Constar International, a producer of polyethylene terephthalate plastic containers, leading its turn-around out of bankruptcy in January 2011 and December 2013. Prior to that, Mark served as leadership roles at Eclipse Aviation, a jet manufacturer, from 2007 to 2009.
Mark began his career in 1984, serving in various financial and operational roles of increasing responsibility at 3M, a multinational manufacturer, including treasurer and president and general manager of 3M Canada until 2007. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, and a Master of Business Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Sanjeev Bahl has served as Chief Operating Officer of Latham, The Pool Company since January 2022. He is responsible for leading Latham’s global operations organization, overseeing all manufacturing, supply chain, EHS, quality, and engineering.
Sanjeev is an accomplished operations executive with more than 20 years of experience in global supply chain and procurement. Prior to joining Latham, he most recently served as Vice President of Global Operations at Newell Brands, where he was responsible for all aspects of multi-site global operations including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, procurement, customer service, inventory management, complexity reduction and manufacturing, and sourcing finishing goods and supplier quality. Sanjeev started his career as a consulting engineer at SPECS where he designed electrical systems for chemical processing plant projects and has since then served in leadership roles across a variety of companies including Carrier Corporation, Pratt and Whitney, and Stanley Black & Decker.
Sanjeev has a Master of Business Administration degree from York University in Toronto, Canada, and earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Delhi College of Engineering in New Delhi, India.
Josh Cowley has served as Chief Commercial Officer of Latham since March 2021. Josh is responsible for leading Latham’s global sales organization and driving strategic sales initiatives to achieve the company’s new business and growth goals, while maintaining Latham’s position as a market leader.
Prior to joining Latham, Josh held various leadership roles during his 16 years at Stanley Black & Decker, most recently serving as President and General Manager in Retail Sales and Marketing. He started his career at Newell Rubbermaid in various sales management roles. Josh has more than 20 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, focusing on business development, productivity, profitability and market share gain.
Josh has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Joel has served as Chief Marketing Officer of Latham since February 2019. He is responsible for overseeing Latham’s marketing and product strategy.
Joel has a strong history of driving profitability, growth and continuous improvement through his understanding of customer engagement, product innovation and go to market strategies. Prior to joining Latham, he served as Vice President of Global Marketing, Design and Product Strategy for Wilsonart, the world’s leading producer of Engineered Surfaces, since 2013. His previous work experience includes EVP of Marketing and Strategic Planning for Masterbrand Cabinets, a Fortune Brands Company, Uponor International as EVP Marketing and Product Development and Director of Marketing for Kohler Company as well as numerous leadership roles within sales and sales management.
Joel has a Master of Business Administration from Marquette University and a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Pittsburgh. Additionally, Joel is a USGBC LEED Accredited Associate.
Kaushal Dhruv has served as Chief Information Officer of Latham since February 2019. He is responsible for providing vision and leadership over Latham’s technology and system-related strategy, security, execution and services.
Prior to joining Latham, Kaushal served as a director technology risk management and systems integration at KPMG US, a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services, from 2004 to 2020.
Kaushal holds a master’s degree in information management degree from Syracuse University, a master’s degree in business management from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the Pune Institute of Computer Technology, and a diploma in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the University of Mumbai. He also is a certified project manager, certified information systems auditor, certified information systems security professional, certified in enterprise governance of IT, a certified cloud professional, certified data privacy solutions professional and certified in risk information systems and controls.
Melissa Feck has served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Latham since December 2018. Melissa is responsible for developing and executing HR strategy which includes talent management, succession planning, total rewards/compensation, performance management, culture, engagement/employee relations, training & development, and employee safety for Latham’s workforce.
She joined the company in 2016 and has 25 years of experience as a human resources and training leader. Prior to joining Latham, Melissa was Vice President, HR and Member Education at the Healthcare Association of NYS from 2011 to 2016 and VP HR and Corporate Services at CAP COM Federal Credit Union from 1993 to 2010, during which time she held management positions in areas including marketing, public relations and administration.
Melissa is the co-facilitator for the Capital Region HR Executive Briefing Series and has shared her expertise as a guest speaker on HR and organizational development topics in multiple forums. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University at Albany and has received a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification. She has served as a member of non-profit boards including St. Catherine’s Center for Children and Whitney M. Young Health Center.
